The PVC formulation RAU-PVC 1476

Regions with a UV-radiation higher than 160 kcal/cm²/p.a. have to use a special PVC formulation to withstand the severe climatic conditions (equal to 1862 kWh/m²).

RAU-PVC 1476: The PVC formulation for extreme weather conditions

REHAU has developed the formulation RAU-PVC 1476 with an outstanding resistance against UV-radiation and hot weather. This REHAU PVC formulation is successfully used in Middle East countries, India, Africa and Australia for many years. Apart from a higher resistance against UV-radiation, window profiles of this formulation show excellent mechanical properties.

The new VinylPlus product label is the first sustainability mark for polymer windows, which adds sustainability to other quality marks such as the RAL seal of quality.
