REHAU Look Ahead to New Developments as a Glazpartner with New Window Accessories

After becoming one of the first companies to join the Glazpartner programme, a new initiative launched by Glazpart, one of the leading injection mould specialists since 1986, REHAU is looking to build on the partnership’s success with new windows systems accessories.

These are currently under development for REHAU’s premium TOTAL70 and Rio Flush Fit ranges.

The partnership between leading polymer manufacturer REHAU and Glazpart commenced at the FIT Show in 2023 when both companies came together to offer fenestration professionals window solutions compliant with the 2022 updates to Approved Document F (ventilation) of the Building Regulations.

At the exhibition, REHAU featured the Glazpart Link Vent on the Rio flush fit window, with the vents in a modern Anthracite Grey colour to contrast against the white profile to demonstrate the level of customisation available. This product won the ‘Window Component of the Year’ at the National Fenestration Awards (NFA) 2022 event.

REHAU and its customers have been supported by Glazpart in meeting industry requirements for over ten years and have now formed a stronger partnership by becoming members of the Glazpartners programme. Mark Gadja, Head of Technical Services and Certification at REHAU, led the partnership from the polymer manufacturer’s side.

On why the venture has proven a hit with the industry, Mark said: “We chose to work with Glazpart for ventilation solutions on REHAU windows and doors in 2022, because they offered a superb product in the Link Vent range at a value for money price however, this relationship is now much more than just being a supplier and purchaser.

“We are currently talking with Glazpart about adding other systems accessories to our range, such as glazing shovels and a range of packers specific to our premium TOTAL70 and Rio Flush Fit range. We are confident these developments will further bolster confidence amongst fenestration professionals who are seeking reliable, regulation-compliant, and energy efficient window solutions.”
